WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
Twin bedding, pillow, toiletries, and a week’s worth of clothing
WHAT IF I HAVE NOTHING? (ANYTHING MENTIONED ABOVE)
We actually have a “blessings” closet, where people have donated clothing and new toiletries to our ministry. We will do our best to help you with that.
WHAT KIND OF SPACE DO I GET? WHERE DO I SLEEP?
Everyone is issued a bunk – either on top or bottom depending on what is available. You will also have an armoire where you can place books, photos, paper etc.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I EAT?
Our kitchen department is awesome! You will get 3 meals a day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which are all served in our cafeteria.
CAN THE RESIDENTS STILL TALK TO OR MEET THEIR LOVED ONES?
Yes, after 2 weeks they get 2 (10 minutes) phone calls per week, that has to be immediate family. After 30 days they can have a visit on Tuesday (from 12:00pm to 5:00pm) and join us for church service the same evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The student is required to turn in a visitation request one week prior to each visit. Visits are allowed every other week.
